Hello everybody! This is my first year putting on a production for the students in my community. I have about 15 kids signed up and REALLY excited to do "Space Pirates!," however it's only about half of what I need do to the show. In your experience, what are some successful practices for getting students (and parents!) to commit? I've tried offering early registration discounts, free camp t-shirts, and exchange of services, but I would like to change my growing list of "interested" into "participating." I'm hoping it's just still early and I'll get an influx right before we begin, but putting everything to chance like that seems a little risky. Thank you for your support!

I would connect with the parents who are enrolled and ask them to encourage friends to join the camp. Who doesn't want to do a camp with a friend? I did the show last year with 22 kids by combining parts so you may not need as many kids as you suspect.

We get big sisters and brothers to join as well as mentors then throw them up on stage if you need some more actors.
